On April 18, 2026, the Guinean American Chamber of Commerce (GACC-USA) successfully hosted its official launch and ministerial mini forum in Maryland, marking a significant step forward in strengthening economic cooperation between Guinea and the United States.
The event welcomed a high-level delegation from the Chambre de Commerce, d’Industrie et d’Artisanat de Guinée (CCIAG), led by its President, Mr. Mamadou Baldé, alongside the presence of His Excellency Ismaël Nabé, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, and His Excellency Mohamed Dabo, Ambassador of Guinea to the United Nations.
Bringing together government officials, business leaders, and members of the diaspora, the forum featured strategic discussions on trade, investment, and partnership opportunities. Key sectors highlighted included agriculture, mining, energy, education, healthcare, and sustainable development.
Through impactful panels and networking sessions, the launch reinforced GACC-USA’s role as a vital bridge between Guinea and the United States, committed to facilitating investment, supporting private sector growth, and connecting stakeholders on both sides.
The Chamber is now fully operational and continues to build momentum toward a stronger, more dynamic Guinea–U.S. economic partnership.
